GpsMid
These little tools may help you to recover tracks and waypoints which were lost after a crash of GpsMid.
You need to have recovered the RecordStore file or its backup, which are maintained by the operating system of your phone.
Before the tool can recover the data, you need to open (a copy of!) the persistency file in a hex editor and remove all bytes at the beginning which constitute the start of the RecordStore and possibly of the track. So afterwards, the file must start with the first record of a trackpoint or waypoint.
The beginning of the first waypoint shouldn't be too hard to find, there are 10 bytes of data before the name of the waypoint.
Trackpoints are harder. Each record has a length of 19 bytes. Hopefully you will see a pattern in the hex data.
Then you can try to run the tool. In a console window, enter e.g. java -jar Trackretter.jar <name of persistency file> <name of output file>

ComicGrabber
ComicGrabber diente hauptsächlich dazu, die Dilbert-Comics automatisch herunterzuladen und korrekt zu benennen.
Mehr dazu steht im ReadMe.
Seit der Aufbau der Website geändert wurde (wobei dieser nervige Flash-Zugriff auf das Comicarchiv Gottseidank wieder entfallen ist) funktioniert das aber nicht mehr. Aber vielleicht kann es ja jemand für einen anderen Zweck gebrauchen.
ComicGrabber ist in Java geschrieben, unterliegt der GNU General Public License und steht hier als JAR-Archiv zur Verfügung.
Um es starten zu können, ist eine Java-Umgebung nötig. Diese kann auf der Java-Homepage von Sun heruntergeladen werden und ist leider ca. 15 MB groß. Andere Java-Umgebungen funktionieren evtl. auch, was ich aber nicht getestet habe.
Tauchlogbuch
Für mein Tauchlogbuch verwende ich selbst erstellte Blätter, die ich in ein kleines Ringbuch mit Sechsfachlochung abhefte, das eigentlich als Zeitplaner gedacht ist.
Hier ist die Vorlage als PDF-Datei fertig zum Ausdrucken (zwei Blatt je DIN-A4-Seite) und hier im Skencil-Format damit jeder Änderungen daran machen kann.
